FSCA warns the public against Nombuso Ndlovu
Pretoria - The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) has today warned the public against an individual named Nombuso Ndlovu presenting herself as a trader employed by Prescient Investment Management (Pty) Ltd.
In a statement issued this morning, the FSCA said it would like to warn the public to be cautious of an individual by the name of Nombuso Ndlovu, who is presenting herself as a trader employed by Prescient Investment Management (Pty) Ltd (Prescient). Nombuso Ndlovu is using WhatsApp numbers 068309569 and 0635511364, and a Capitec Bank account number 1824281208.
The regulator said it received information from Prescient, a licensed Financial Services Provider (FSP number 612) that someone named Nombuso Ndlovu is presenting herself as a trader, employed by Prescient. They have further confirmed that Nombuso Ndlovu is not in their employ and not a representative of theirs in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002 (FAIS Act), said the regulator.
Any information that is being sent by her is false, and the FSCA warns the public against doing any financial services related business with the said individual.
The regulators emphasised that members of the public should always ensure that an entity or individual is authorised by the FSCA to provide a specific financial product or service.
