Leza Wells qualified as an Actuary at a very young age – this afforded her the opportunity to be in management positions from very early on in her career and advance quickly without the distraction of studying and juggling a young family. At her previous international company, she had a reputation for being the most commercially minded Chief Pricing Actuary, and being an extrovert who thrives on networking and collaboration. This has undoubtedly stood Leza in good stead for executive roles focusing on people management and business development. She is also proud of the numerous associations that she sits on and add value to. Leza says one of her biggest achievements is successfully juggling a corporate career and a houseful of boys (although I might have to pass that credit onto my very supportive teacher husband who is the most hands-on dad ever). She says her husband celebrates her drive for success and has always supported her competitive nature in taking on the corporate world. She is a proud mother of three boys currently aged between 9 and 16.
