Aktia launches SCOR’s Velogica in Finland

Paris - SCOR Digital Solutions has announced the successful launch of Velogica, our cloud-based automated underwriting solution, with our strategic partner Aktia Life Insurance in Finland.

Built on SCOR’s proprietary risk expertise and powered by dynamic questionnaires, predictive models, and a robust rules engine, Velogica is designed to deliver real-time, data-driven decisions across the Life & Health insurance value chain, enabling insurers to streamline policy issuance, enhance decision quality, and scale with agility.

This new milestone with Aktia marks a significant advancement in our shared commitment to digital innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric transformation in life insurance.

While the solution was initially soft launched in January 2025 and has already received strong endorsement from Aktia Life Insurance’s distribution and underwriting teams, Velogica is now fully live across Aktia Life Insurance’s operations in Finland, supporting all life insurance products in the country. The implementation follows a seamless integration and collaborative development process, and reflects our joint ambition to deliver fast, reliable, and data-driven underwriting decisions.

Aktia Life Insurance is planning to extend Velogica’s use to additional distribution channels and product lines in the coming months, further enhancing its digital offering.
