PSG appoints new advisors to expand KZN footprint
Cape Town - PSG has announced that it has extended its footprint across KwaZulu-Natal with the appointment of four new advisers who took up their positions as at 1 October 2021. The company said these appointments align with its strategic objectives as the firm looks to strengthen its adviser presence and client relations.
PSG has a significant footprint in offices throughout the Western Cape and Gauteng, with Kwa-Zulu Natal being its third largest territory. The group says part of its aspirations is to expand its influence in KwaZulu-Natal to meet the growing need for wealth and portfolio management in the region. As an advice-led business, PSG says it is dedicated to helping South Africans set and meet their financial goals through objective and appropriate advice.

Greg Lambert has been appointed as a Wealth Manager at PSG Wealth Midlands in Pietermaritzburg. He joins PSG having worked with the First Rand Group for over 3 decades, first as a Regional Manager of FNB Trust Services and most recently as a Senior Wealth Manager at FNB Private Wealth. Lambert is a qualified CFP and enters the role with a significant amount of knowledge from a fiduciary perspective. He has featured amongst the top-performing Wealth Managers in FNB Private Wealth both nationally and provincially for the past 10 years.

Joining the PSG Ballito office as a Wealth Manager is Sean Fouche, who was previously a Wealth Manager at RMB. Prior to joining RMB, Sean was employed by ABSA Private Wealth for 9 years and sat as Chairman of Investments for a portion of his tenure. Fouche is a qualified CFP and CA (SA), and holds an MBA. He brings with him significant amount of expertise and experience with a particular focus on wealth management, portfolio management and stockbroking. He has been a top performing Wealth Manager with RMB both nationally and provincially for the past 12 years.

Also joining the PSG office in Ballito is Rory Logan, previously a Wealth Manager at RMB, having worked in the FirstRand Group since 2008. Prior to moving into Wealth Management, Rory held the position of Divisional Manager at RMB where he played a strong role in the growth of the institution in KZN. Rory holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Postgraduate Diploma in Investment Planning. He was the recipient of the Best Advice in Wealth Management Award for the last two years consecutively at RMB and was consistently amongst the Top 10 Wealth Managers nationally for the firm

Taking up a position as Wealth Manager at PSG Kloof office is Dave Chaplin – previously who previously worked for FNB as a Wealth Manager, having worked for the First Rand Group since 2008, when he joined as part of the structured lending team. Chaplin was awarded the Top Wealth Manager Award (FNB/RMB) in 2017/2018 and was amongst the top 5 Wealth Managers for the firm for last three consecutive years.
