SAIA announces election of Danie Matthee as Deputy Chair of the Board
Johannesburg - The South African Insurance Association (SAIA) has today announced the election of Mr. Danie Matthee as the Deputy Chairperson of the SAIA Board at its Board meeting held on 2 May 2024.
Through a statement released on 8 May, 2024, the association said Mr. Matthee, who is the Chief Executive Officer of OUTsurance and has been a member of the SAIA Board since 20 July 2017, has demonstrated a strong commitment to SAIA through his participation in the various SAIA committees, notably as the Chairperson of the SAIA Board Committee: Transformation.
"We extend our best wishes and full support to Mr. Matthee in his new role where he will serve alongside Mr. Thusang Mahlangu who continues as SAIA Board Chairperson as elected on 31 August 2023," concluded the association.
