MiWay appoints new Executive Head of Claims and Procurement
Johannesburg - MiWay has today announced the appointment Youlon Naidoo as Executive Head: Claims and Procurement. In the announcement, the insurer said Naidoo has 28 years’ experience in the industry, where he has held senior positions at Outsurance, Santam and Auto & General.
MiWay said Naidoo is the current chairman of a professional body called Vehicle Damage Quantification (VDQ) and sits on various committees at the South African Insurance Association (SAIA).
“MiWay has a reputation for going out of its way for their clients – a viewpoint that resonates with me,” he says. “I believe I can contribute to the overall purpose of allowing clients to live their way, on their own terms and I am delighted to join the team.”
Naidoo says that self-development is a fundamental part of his philosophy, and he has attended a number of management courses at institutions such as Gordon Institute of Business Science, Wits Business School and Wits Digital Campus in a quest to gain important skills.
MiWay said Youlon is a welcomed addition to its family, and has a proven track record in defining new business strategies, delivering operational impact, initiating, and delivering sustained results.
