Lelo Ntshalintshali takes over as GM: Stakeholder
Johannesburg - The South African Insurance Association (SAIA) today announced the promotion of Ms Lelo Ntshalintshali to General Manager, responsible for the newly formed Stakeholder Relations and Communications portfolio.
Lelo is not a newcomer to the SAIA, having joined the association in October 2011 as Manager: Stakeholder Relations. She was also responsible for the continued implementation of the short-term insurance industry's consumer education initiative, which is run by the SAIA on behalf of its members.
Lelo holds a BA degree from the University of Swaziland, Post-grad Diploma in Management from Wits Business School and a BA Honours (Journalism and Media Studies) from the University of Witwatersrand. She is currently completing her MA degree (Journalism and Media Studies) with the same institution.
"We look forward to drawing on Lelo';s experience as she takes on her new responsibilities in this important portfolio. Lelo has already proven during her tenure at the SAIA that she is more than capable to add value to the association and its members," says Barry Scott, SAIA Chief Executive.
