Says Sanlam Group Chief Executive, Dr Johan van Zyl: "On behalf of the Sanlam Group Executive Committee, I wish to congratulate Lize on her new position and thank her for her contribution and leadership which has seen SPF consistently perform over the years to become one of the leading retail financial services groups in South Africa. Her appointment is a well-deserved recognition and achievement. I have no doubt that her extensive experience and proven leadership skills will stand her in good stead at Santam. It has been a great honour to work with her and we wish her well."
Commenting on her appointment, Lambrechts said: "I am pleased to take up this new opportunity and wish to thank the Santam Board for their confidence in me. I look forward to working with the Santam team to continue growing and adding value to the solid business that has been established there. I am grateful to the Sanlam Board, the Executive and staff for their incredible support."
